The MARTINA project addresses the needs of Norrbotten County municipalities and Skellefteå Municipality for research and innovation-enhancing efforts through the implementation of needs-based pilot projects. The project's working methods and resources are based on the previously implemented AIDIHN project's (case number 20203234) developed innovation system model and the established competence that today can be found within the research organization. Through the project partners, the target group is offered support in the innovation work to increase the use of advanced digitization and applied AI. Through a structured work process in the project, we ensure that general upskilling to the target group takes place at the same time as we can carry out the in-depth efforts in the form of pilot studies efficiently, as well as carry out activities to simultaneously strengthen research and the necessary infrastructure in the area. The project's established working model ensures knowledge transfer and gives SMEs the ability and conditions to commercialise new innovations.
