The project addresses the challenge of promoting a circular economy by reducing the extraction of new raw materials and waste through the establishment of a mono-incineration plant for sludge management. The goal is to process 50,000 tonnes of sludge annually, which contributes to reduced greenhouse gas emissions and promotes phosphorus recycling. The target group includes municipal decision-makers, technical experts, companies in environmental technology and the general public in northern Sweden. Through inclusive workshops, training sessions and collaboration with local organizations, the project works to increase knowledge and engagement on sustainable waste management and circular economy. The change sought is a strengthened climate awareness and sustainable consumption patterns among the target group, which leads to a long-term positive effect on the environment and society.
