UCareKFUM 2.0

UcareKFUM 2.0, run by KFUM District East with collaboration from KFUM Central and House of Ukraine, aims to promote the integration and labour market establishment of unemployed Ukrainians under the Mass Refugee Directive and new arrivals in the Stockholm region. Through a thorough problem analysis, we have identified critical barriers such as lack of language skills, limited access to the labour market, and challenges in social inclusion. Our project goals focus on offering tailor-made establishment initiatives, creating "safe spaces" for psychosocial support, and developing sustainable strategies for integration through labour market preparation and community engagement. The methods include individual needs mapping, thematic language cafés, and integrated support activities that address both practical and emotional needs. The project is deeply rooted in the participating organisations, with a steering group representing a broad competence and commitment to the project's success. By combining practical support with psychosocial interventions, we strive to create a long-term positive change for our target group and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable social structure.
