NOVA K

We want to carry out a collaborative project between the employers concerned and the various municipalities to explore and find a common understanding of employment, forms of employment and sharing of resources. To achieve this, we need to find possible forms of collaboration and construct agreements between municipalities to jointly find long-term sustainable solutions for skills supply in our regions. The overall aim of the project is to obtain an increased and more equal competence among the regions' cultural schools, regardless of municipality size and demographics, and to develop and test different organizational structures to make a broader labour market available for cultural school staff in rural and sparsely populated areas. The project objectives are to develop working methods, structures and models for inter-municipal employment and inter-regional solutions, regardless of geographical distance, and to test the necessary technology for this. With our large distances and several small municipalities, we come to the conclusion that we cannot or should not do everything everywhere - but that by using new technology for remote education, we can create more equal conditions. Through increased digitalisation and modernization of cultural school activities, which by their nature are both traditional and in constant development, we can contribute to better conditions. In the project, we want to develop distance-spanning activities by creating new forms of collaboration and using new technology to strengthen the attractiveness of the regions in the long term. The project helps to compensate for the long distances and low population density. In the long run, the project leads to competence development for individuals, teachers in the cultural schools. We see that the project will be of interest to other regions in the country that have similar problems and we will disseminate information in the project in our national networks.
