The IDIS (Inclusion and Participation in Collaboration) project is aimed at people aged 18 and over who are unable to support themselves. Through the project, participants will receive support based on their unique prerequisites for moving closer to the labour market. At least 330 people in Gävleborg County will benefit from the project's efforts. Actions will be adapted and targeted according to the needs of the participant, which will often involve parallel actions in different areas. The project will enable people to take inspiration across municipal boundaries to test new methods and activities. A new approach that will be tested is to have a county-wide process manager from health care included in the project. The process leader will contribute by, in particular, increasing knowledge, piloting matters through the health care system and developing processes and working methods in which municipalities and health care have important roles. Municipalities and health care can, in collaboration, provide participants with more accurate and timely support. In addition to supporting efforts to participants and a process leader connected to healthcare, the project will work to improve collaboration between actors who come into contact with the target group. These actors can be found both in municipal activities (e.g. social services, labour market units, adult education, addiction centres, housing companies) and externally (e.g. the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, the Prison and Probation Service, civil society). The project runs from 1 September 2024 until 31 October 2026 and will be carried out in all ten municipalities in the county. Region Gävleborg is the project owner. The objectives of the project include: Participants must have received support based on their unique circumstances. Through these actions, participants will be brought closer to the labour market. - Improved conditions for participating actors for needs-appropriate support and parallel actions. Collaboration between actors who come into contact with the target group has improved.
