The background to the project is that young people in the county are in an increasingly long period of exclusion and it concerns a particularly vulnerable group in need of coordinated support that has more difficulty than others in establishing themselves in the labour market. The project recognises that among the target group there are many young people with school failures and the project therefore wants to develop working methods around preventive KAA and bridge critical transitions. The main purpose of the project is to find a county-wide direction for KAA where the main focus is on collaborating earlier and stronger in a resource-efficient organization to improve and develop the conditions for the target group through school stages and in the transition to working life. The goal of the project is, by developing and testing cross-sectoral and cross-professional approaches with preventive and reinforced KAA, for the target group 13-24 years, to contribute knowledge to develop how municipalities can improve the work with UVAS and create greater equivalence in KAA support in the county. In order for KAA to succeed with the assignment, collaboration between school, KAA and labour market activities is needed, as well as a clarification of roles and responsibilities to ensure equal support for young people in the county.
