Fast Care - Prepare for work is a project run by Umeå municipality and is about preparing Ukrainian refugees in northern Sweden for the labour market in four shortage occupations: health and social care, restaurant and services, pedagogical activities and childcare, as well as storage, transport and construction. Intensive vocational Swedish is combined with shorter internships that will lead to employment for most people. The focus is also on health support for participants and close cooperation with employers.
