Fast Care-Ukraine Competence

SHORT BACKGROUND: The overall goal is for all participants to get closer to the Swedish labour market and find a social community in society. Our more specific goals are that 330 participants will participate in the project, 100 people will attend Health School, 28 social activities and that 50 people will get a job or internship. To carry out the project, we apply for 8 000 462 SEK, i.e. 24 244 SEK per participant, which is cost-effective, since we meet the participants physically to a very large extent in a geographically large county. To manage and take advantage of what we have done and can do. In Fast-Care Ukriana competence, we will take advantage of and continue with the best from three previously successful Care projects in the county. Fast-Care Ukraine expertise includes all 7 municipalities, Region Västernorrland, Länsstyrelsen Västernorrland, Karolinska Institutet and Baptist Church in Sundsvall. In common, we have contact with most Ukrainians in Västernorrland County. We have an experience that we can build on. In common, we have a lot of trusting, secure established contacts with the Ukrainians. The vast majority of our 280 Ukrainians would like the project to continue, it would be disastrous for many individuals because the municipalities do not have the resources to continue supporting Ukrainians in the future. In addition, the employment services do not have the possibility to help Ukrainians to work or train. PROJECT CASE, METHOD & APPLICATION We aim to solve our main problems: * Unemployment * Stress and Anxiety * Social isolation We will work with these problems based on 3 different modules: 1. Competence bank/match 2. School of Health 1 & 2 3. Through our three Care projects, we have been able to help participants get closer to the labour market and achieve employment. In two of the projects, an impressive 70% of participants have managed to secure a place in the labour market, while the third project resulted in a 33% employment rate. We are proud to have made a real difference in the participants' careers and look forward to continuing to help more people reach their professional dreams and goals. Our valuable and responsive coaches and employees, most of whom were born in Ukraine, also discovered the importance of being a link between employers and the employment service when it comes to practical management. Employers lack the time and energy to cope with the extra work involved in hiring Ukrainians after all. In addition, the ability of interpreters became invaluable during job interviews and the introductory phase. We know that these much-needed and compassionate efforts have reduced anxiety and stress for both participants and employers, which has enabled several places in the labour market for our Ukrainian friends. Today we know that some employers want further professional language training. This is part of the coaches/interpreters' mission. HÄLSOSKOLAN 1 and 2 Health school has been an appreciated part of the project by reducing stress and anxiety. A very important part has been that Ukrainians have been able to talk to psychologists from Ukraine under the supervision of Professor Solvig Ekblad on 5 occasions per session. The majority of refugees carry severe traumatic memories and post-migration stress. Since evidence shows that health is important for the ability to get and manage a job, both physical and mental, all participants in the project are offered to participate in a trauma-based health school, a circular activity that provides an introduction to Swedish healthcare. In addition to information about Swedish society, the course also includes: • Information on gender equality, equal treatment and non-discrimination - women's rights and obligations as well as human rights in general. • Facts about psychological trauma from the war, post-arrival stress and recovery, and mental health and ill-health for both women, men and children. Risk of intergenerational effect (the parent transfers mental illness to the child). • Health promotion including information on health care including dental care, nutrition, exercise, employability and well-being to prevent various public health diseases including mental illness. The health school, which is evidence-based and has previously received funding from the Social Fund, is to be regarded as an activity (social and emotional support and skill training) aimed at bringing participants closer to the labour market. The working group has extensive knowledge and experience related to the project's in-depth elements. This mainly refers to experience of working with refugees, coaches responsible for the matching process, project management, interpreters and implementation of Health School. The fact that the participants from Care Hyllie Park Sundsvall have reported up to 22 new contacts with Swedish-speaking individuals via Baptist Church Sundsvall as well as associations and volunteers is something we have identified as one of the most impor
