The European Social Fund ESF+, Key Action B, provides interventions to individuals enrolled in the PES who are far from the labour market and who are in need of equipping and matching interventions to increase transitions to work and study. With the Onward ESF+ project, Arbetsförmedlingen wants to contribute to strengthening transitions to work and studies. The project's efforts are provided through independent actors in the form of procured services and help prevent and break long-term unemployment. The project will target efforts to individuals enrolled at the Public Employment Service who are far from the labour market and who are in need of equipping and matching efforts. The target group is unemployed women and men who are far from the labour market, such as the long-term unemployed, young people, new arrivals, individuals with disabilities resulting in reduced work capacity or individuals who are on sick leave and need support for return to work. The efforts are expected to lead to more individuals receiving support to meet the needs of the labour market.
