Young people are excluded from education and the labour market in Central Nordland. Appropriate training, meeting the individual needs of pupils and promoting cooperation in transitions should therefore be improved. How could this happen? What solutions could support this work? The CREATE YOUR FUTURE project, 2023 - 2026, answers these problems and questions. The project will design, test, validate and distribute digital models, structures and empowering networks to prevent or reduce exclusion of young people taking into account individual and equal opportunities, accessibility and gender equality. The ESF-funded project improves training and orientation towards working life. New ideas will be created using qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods (e.g. qualitative interviews, document analyses, content-based analysis, collaborative workshops and quantitative assessments). The project results are as follows: Research- and practice-based new knowledge on the creation of partnerships, e.g. between the education sector and public and private employers; models to support learners in continuing their education or training or in their orientation towards the world of work and to improve the acquisition of key competences by learners, including work-life and digital skills; c) Concepts for developing the structures of organizations; d) Support material for professionals and e) Academic and public communication. MIUN is the project coordinator. Other partners include municipal representatives in Mellersta Norrland, organisations, authorities, companies and other national and international organisations and employers that support employability, student support and promote digital transformation. CREATE YOUR FUTURE emphasises, among other things, the implementation of the National Youth Guarantee and the EU's objective of "a more social and inclusive Europe".
