In the Swedish labour market, we have unequal opportunities to get and keep a job. The problem persists regardless of economic activity, leaving large groups outside the labour market. Public actors need to be an active and innovative partner to enable employers to recruit, hire and retain new skills from target groups that are considered to be far from the labour market. Comprehensive knowledge initiatives are needed to contribute to the position of vulnerable groups in the labour market and to a more sustainable working life. We also need to work to change attitudes and approaches to combat discrimination in the labour market, promote social inclusion and combat exclusion. The project will promote awareness-raising efforts for people who have a stable position on the labour market, i.e. the members of the coordination associations and their employees. This helps to strengthen support for citizens who are in an unstable position in the labour market. Through a long-term sustainable structure for joint competence development, knowledge exchange and collaboration around the target group, the project will contribute to a more systematic work on gender equality, accessibility and non-discrimination. It is important that the signal value is clear about the individual's empowerment and ability to make action-oriented choices that lead to a long-term sustainable social establishment through studies and work. In the long term, we see opportunities for our work to have an impact on national policy in terms of finding and contributing to solutions to complex societal problems such as national targets on employment, education and increasing social inclusion in all municipalities in the country. As a welfare actor, the unions contribute by creating a unified structure for cooperation in the region for people in need of coordinated support. Knowledge of, and respect for each other's assignments and professions is a success factor for good collaboration. By having knowledge of what the other parties should and can do, erroneous expectations of each other are avoided. Increased knowledge also lays the foundation for mutual trust and trust in each other. Through a county-wide knowledge initiative aimed at staff of the coordinating associations' member parties, we want to contribute to • Employees in the field of work-oriented rehabilitation to gain in-depth knowledge of working methods and methods that lead to sustainable establishment in working life, and how the methods can be applied in practice • Employees in the field of work-oriented rehabilitation to gain increased knowledge and respect for each other's assignments and about how collaboration that leads to sustainable establishment in work or studies can be developed • Employees in the field of work-oriented rehabilitation to gain increased knowledge of discriminatory structures in the labour market and in society Through the project, we also want to develop county-wide meeting platforms for learning and development, in order to gain an increased common understanding of problems, needs and measures in the area of collaboration. The project is conducted in close cooperation with the POA2 project of the Coordination Associations in order to jointly achieve a larger, county-wide learning about which methods and working methods are effective and how they can be applied in ordinary activities. By holding together skills development efforts and implementation efforts, we will more easily, and with better conditions, be able to capture signals about themes and areas where skills need to be strengthened for good implementation and good support to our target groups. This, in turn, is likely to result in fewer internal downspouts that reduce the efficiency of the work. The project will also be an opportunity to conduct county-wide follow-ups and evaluations. We intend to collaborate with researchers and higher education institutions that follow up and evaluate the projects' implementation efforts, as well as work on testing and developing data-driven follow-up to counteract discrimination. A clear starting point for the project will be implementation in close cooperation with those directly concerned; participants, relatives, project employees and employers. Within the project, service design methods will be used to increase the influence in all of the project's activities. Provided it is granted, the project will run from March 2023 to December 2024.
