Lifting force 2.0

The project aims to strengthen the skills of 1000 employed women and men in small and medium-sized companies in Dalarna. Problems such as a low level of education, a strongly gender-segregated labour market and demographic challenges all contribute to the picture of problems today. Major investments are now being made in the county and skills shortages will be a major problem in the future, not least for the smaller companies. Many are also outside the labour market today and this contributes further to companies' difficulties in recruiting the right skills. At the same time, innovation capacity and internationalisation capacity are low in the county's companies. In recent years, the county has run a number of companies that have had contact with over 2000 companies where analyses have been made of their needs. This, together with other analyses from, among others, AF, has contributed to the project's planned efforts. In order to meet the needs of individuals and companies and to contribute to increased competitiveness of companies with increased GRP as a result, the project intends to provide tailor-made interventions based on the needs of companies and employees. A lot of focus is on intercultural dialogue and the internal work with the competence staircase in order for the longer-term work with competence supply and competence development in the company to continue. In addition, efforts within digitalisation, energy and climate as well as web-based trainings, etc. will be arranged. This will ultimately lead to individuals strengthening their position in the company and in the labour market and the company being able to develop new business areas through an increased internationalization and innovation capacity in the company.
