Digitalisation is undergoing a rapid pace of change and development is extensive – we are not keeping up with the development Public sector is in the midst of an extensive digital transformation journey where both central and activity-specific flows and processes need to be redesigned and created based on the new conditions. Existing operating systems are in great need of renewal and development has been going on in recent years. In order to keep up with the pace at which this is happening, work needs to be done to safely and efficiently implement the new IT systems and the processes and forms of work that come out of this. In this project, we want to implement educational initiatives, adapted to school, health and social care needs and the professions in both school, health and social care, as the digital transformation journey affects many functions and roles in these activities. There are many challenges along the way that will need to be addressed but there will also be many opportunities. The pandemic has undoubtedly accelerated digitalisation and without counterbalancing measures in the form of skills-enhancing measures, there is a risk of increased digital exclusion for a number of individuals. Digital skills are a must to do the job. The pandemic focused on the fact that the lack of digital skills affects the employability of individuals while at the same time reinforcing linguistic and digital exclusion. The effects of digitalisation and technology development, together with the need for skills development efforts, are due not only to difficulties associated with the availability of new technology, but equally to employees' ability and own curiosity to use the technology. It is no longer enough to just keep up, connect and manage to follow instructions. Today, many will also be able to hold all the different parts of the digital meetings; work as a system administrator, follow email threads, make calendar bookings, etc. Working inclusively with all participants is important. The opportunity to participate in a meeting digitally has greatly increased accessibility during the pandemic, but leadership in hybrid meetings is crucial for participation and influence and something that our leaders need to develop. The overall goal is that the opportunities of digitization should be taken advantage of by both employees and organizations and lead to the development of the business. After the project, participating organizations have increased the digital competence of leaders, employees and the organization as a whole. Furthermore, participating organisations use digital tools to a greater extent and in a safer and more secure way. Project milestone: 1. Increased digital skills for leaders in schools and in health and social care. With this goal, we want to provide knowledge to management to be able to lead and control digitalisation in the workplace and ensure that knowledge levels are raised for the entire organization. The goal also means that the leadership should be able to work inclusively in a digital everyday life. 2. Increased digital competence for employees in schools and in health and social care. Employees in schools and health and social care should feel comfortable with new digital ways of working and be able to use the help that digital tools can provide in a legally secure and efficient way. 3. Tools for organisations and participants to work with lifelong learning in a learning organisation. In order for the digitalisation of the activities to take off and continue to develop, the organisations participating in the project need to increase their knowledge of how the organisation becomes a learning organisation and how the development should continue. 4. The organisations have an increased knowledge of gender equality, non-discrimination and accessibility. Health and social care and schools have a tradition of being a gender-segregated workplace and digital tools and platforms are often developed by men. By highlighting the horizontal principles and educating within this, we want to increase the interest for women to dare to develop digital working methods and tools for this and how the digital tools can create increased accessibility and inclusion. The main activities of the project will be educational efforts but also seminars, meeting places and workshops to share the learning and possible solutions to the challenges. For the courses to be procured, a dialogue is conducted with the municipalities, the list below is preliminary and gives a picture of demand. There are also educational materials and methods available on how to work with increased digital competence in organizations. Where possible, they can be used.
