The assumption of the project is to increase the potential of the Lower Silesia Geoportal by enriching it with new information resources and 6 new public e-services at the 4th level of maturity. The new public services will concern access to provincial geological data, environmental information, issuing permits for carriers in the field of public collective transport, reporting hunting damage, monitoring the anti-smog resolution and submitting applications for subsidies from the protection of agricultural land. New information resources as spatial data will be published on the Geoportal Lower Silesia platform (https://geoportal.dolnyslask.pl) and will concern issues related to: topography of the region, tourism, agriculture, the state of the natural environment, spatial planning, infrastructure, investments, economic development and the material heritage of the voivodship. 25 databases are planned to be created and made available. Some of the new information resources will require the creation of a digital repository of data (geological and environmental data) before they can be made available through e-services. In addition, as part of the project, the platform publishing data and public e-services Geoportal Dolny Śląsk will be expanded with new tools and functionalities, including those related to the inclusion of society in decision-making processes (social participation). The new tools and functionalities of the Lower Silesia Geoportal will satisfy the need to present specific databases and materials accompanying them (in the field of e.g. tourism, geology, 3D data), which are in the possession of the Provincial Government and its subordinate institutions (project developers). Increasing the resources and functionality of the Geoportal will also require the expansion of the hardware, server and software infrastructure of the UMWD and the purchase of measurement equipment that will provide up-to-date data during the project and its durability period. Project activities will require an increase in employment with the applicant and project developers by a total of 5 posts. The planned promotional and informational activities are: creation of a website about the project, purchase of information boards, promotion in social media and regional carriers, purchase of promotional and information materials, payment of costs related to increasing the positioning of the Lower Silesia Geoportal website. The methods of implementation of the project are described in the section "Other information" of this application. Implementation of the project is conducive to achieving the objectives set out in FEDS 2021-2027, in the field of FEDS.01.03 Digitalisation of public services. The digital transformation of the public administration at the provincial level by increasing digital information resources and public e-services of the Lower Silesia Geoportal will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective, i.e. reaping the benefits of digitalisation for citizens, businesses, research organisations and public institutions. Thanks to the implementation of the project, access to public information will be increased, regardless of the place and technology used (e.g. mobile devices). 1) improving the functioning of the voivodship self-government in terms of the availability and flow of information, improving the quality of work and organizational culture of the UMWD, reducing the duration of administrative procedures; 2) Supporting decision-making processes in the Dolnośląskie voivodship and other administrative units that use UMWD public information, through quick access to maps, data and analyses; 3) Dissemination of spatial information and e-services for citizens and increasing public participation, facilitating access to key information about the region.
