The subject of the investment is the implementation of the project entitled: ‘Thermomodernisation of the building of the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service in Wrocław – Olszyniec Road District’, consisting of a comprehensive thermomodernisation of an existing public utility facility located in Olszyniec, the municipality of Walim, the Wałbrzych district, the Dolnośląskie province. The overarching objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the building. The basic goal will be achieved by replacing an economically inefficient heating source, i.e. a gas furnace with renewable energy sources (RES), i.e. a heat pump with the installation of a c.o. installation, reducing the thermal permeability of building partitions by making comprehensive, homogeneous, durable thermal insulation consisting in insulating external walls, flat roof, ceiling above the basement and replacing windows. The improvement will also be related to the reduction of heat demand for the preparation of hot water. The action will be carried out using equipment and materials with technical and functional parameters, based on the recommendations resulting from the energy audit developed for the implementation of the project. The task also envisages, on a complementary basis, the reduction of electricity demand through the installation of a photovoltaic installation. The characteristics of the project refer to the type of economic activity related to the environment and climate change. In addition to the environmental benefits resulting from the implementation of the project, there are also economic and social benefits manifested in the reduction of the operating costs of the publicly financed facility. As part of the information and promotion activities, it is planned to purchase promotional and information materials, organize a conference summarizing the implementation of the project and install an information and promotion board. In addition, in accordance with the Manual of Applicants and Beneficiaries of European Funds for 2021-2027, the documentation resulting from the implementation of the project will bear the following signs: At the same time, information on the implementation of the project will be published on the official website of the Beneficiary [www.dsdik.wroc.pl] and on social media. The implementation of the project is planned to be financed from the external funds of the EU and the state budget obtained through a competitive call under the European Funds for Lower Silesia 2021-2027 Priority 2 "European Funds for the Environment in Lower Silesia", Measure 2.1 "Energy efficiency in public buildings".
