The subject of the project is thermomodernization of 3 public buildings belonging to Zakład Gospodarki Komunalna Sp. z o.o.: - in Twardogóra: office and administrative building ZGK Sp. z o.o. ul. Wrocławska 15 (BUDYNEK No. 1), ZWiK Sewage Treatment Plant building, ul. Lipowa 38 (BUDYNEK No. 2) - in the village of Sądrożyce: the building of the Sądrożyce Water Treatment Station 24a (BUDIONEK No. 3), aimed at improving energy efficiency. PLACE AND PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION dolnośląskie, Commune of Twardogóra Implementation period: 2023-2025 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT The project includes the implementation of: 1. Project documentation: development of technical documentation, ex-ante audit, energy performance certificates. 2. Construction works (design-build mode) in buildings: - insulation of partitions (building 1) - replacement of window and door joinery (all buildings) - modernisation/replacement of heating installations (building 1) - modernisation of domestic hot water installations (building 1) - modernisation of CO installations (buildings 2 and 3) - modernisation of lighting (buildings 2 and 3) - purchase and installation of PV installations in each building. 3. Building supervision (all buildings) 4. Additional construction works in the adaptation of the building for people with disabilities (building no. 1). The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings in the Commune of Twardogóra. The specific objectives of the main objective are: reducing the demand for heat and electricity, increasing air cleanliness, developing legal and environmental awareness, reducing the costs of operating (heating) buildings. Achieving each of the specific objectives will allow to observe measurable benefits, not only for the Applicant himself, but also for the entire region and indirect recipients of the investment implementation. The objectives of the project were defined on the basis of an analysis of the needs of a given socio-economic environment. Achieving the objectives of the Project will contribute to achieving the following benefits: • sustainable and high energy efficiency of public utility buildings in the Twardogóra commune, • improvement of the image of the public sector, • increase in the comfort of use of buildings, • reduction of harmful impact on the state of the environment (air), i.e. reduction of CO2 emissions and PM10 and PM2.5 particulate matter • reduction of operating costs of buildings The project is consistent with the specific objectives set for Priority FEDS.02 European Funds for the Environment in Lower Silesia and with the specific objectives ERDF/CF.CP2.I - Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The achievement of the project's objectives will be confirmed by the achievement of the indicators adopted in the proposal, including estimated CO2 greenhouse gas emissions – reduction to 3.20 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. The project will be fully implemented by the Applicant. It has appropriate preparation, organizational and technical facilities allowing for the proper implementation of the project. The project uses and promotes the most efficient and environmentally friendly technologies, equipment and heating installations in accordance with the developed energy audits. All elements necessary for their implementation will be purchased from suppliers / service providers selected in accordance with the applicable regulations, and all devices used will be new. As part of the information and promotion activities of the Project, commemorative plaques (3 pieces) and information related to the implementation of the Project will be made and installed at the place of the Project implementation and on the Applicant's website.
