The subject of the project is the construction of 5 P&R facilities covering about 419 parking spaces (including 20 for people with disabilities) and 7 B&R facilities in Wrocław located outside the functional downtown area, i.e. - P&R at Wrocław Leśnica railway station approx. 66 parking spaces, B&R – 1 - P&R at Pracze railway station – approx. 85 parking spaces, B&R - 1 pc. - P&R in the area of the intersection of Żmigrodzka and Wołowska streets – approx. 158 parking spaces, B&R - 1 pc. - P&R in the area of Zakrzów railway stop – approx. 50 parking spaces, B&R – 2 pcs. - P&R in the area of the railway stop Wojnów Wschodni – approx. 60 parking spaces, B&R – 2 pcs. The project is thus aimed at creating an interconnecting infrastructure integrated with public transport for the creation of combined journeys – car, bicycle – bus/tram/train. For many years, Wrocław has been carrying out activities for the development of the P&R car park system, its integration with communication subsystems, so as to create a coherent sustainable public transport network. Due to the significant value of investments, their scale and scope of impact, most of these types of projects are co-financed by external funds, including in particular the ERDF. One of such undertakings is the Project in question, which constitutes the third stage and a continuation of the activities of the Municipality of Wrocław, aimed at creating an efficient, coherent and integrated communication system, integrating various means of transport in Wrocław. This will be achieved by defining the appropriate scope of tasks in its area: • Zad. 1 – Project documentation • Zad. 2 – Construction of the P&R car park at Wrocław-Leśnica railway station • Zad.3 – Construction of the P&R car park at Pracze railway station • Zad. 4 – Construction of a P&R car park in the area of the Żmigrodzka and Wołowska Streets Intersection • Zad.5 – Construction of a P&R car park in the area of the Wrocław Zakrzów railway stop • Zad. 6 – Construction of the P&R car park in the area of the Wojnów Wschodni railway station, • Zad. 7 - Equipping car parks with information, monitoring and surveillance elements • Zad. 8 – Information and promotion measures Within each of the car parks, earthworks related to the preparation of the site for construction will be carried out, the surface of parking spaces, access roads, manoeuvring roads, pedestrian and bicycle routes (in the case of selected tasks) will be made. In the area of each of the car parks, the B&R facility will also be built, covered with a shed that allows you to leave your bike at one of the mounted stands. An important element of the work will be the drainage of each of the car parks, which will allow efficient and effective management of rainwater and meltwater preventing flooding of the car parks. In order to ensure the full functionality of each parking lot, they will also be equipped with elements of small architecture such as benches, trash cans, road posts. The safety of P&R facilities will in turn be ensured through the installation of LED lighting and the installation of equipment, i.e. monitoring and surveillance elements. The aesthetic value of the car parks will be ensured by activities related to the arrangement of greenery – care of the existing one and new compensatory and additional plantings. In addition, as part of its own resources, the Applicant will carry out information and promotional activities consisting, inter alia, in placing information boards at the place of implementation of the Project and placing the BIP UM Wrocławia website, the WI Sp. z o.o. website and the ZDIUM website.
