The project consists of the revitalisation of railway lines Nos 340 and 308 on the section Jelenia Góra – Mysłakowice – Karpacz. As part of the project, railway line No 340 will be modernised on the section from Mysłakowice to Karpacz, i.e. from km – 0,247 to km 7,055. It is a locally important, non-electrified and single-track line on which there is currently no rail traffic. The project provides for the design and execution of track works for a single-track railway line together with engineering structures, structures, passenger service facilities and rail-road crossings. The project also includes the design and installation of automatic crossing signalling devices on railway lines Nos 340 and 308. In addition, the project and execution of works - under the supervision of the conservator of monuments - consisting in the renovation of the historic platform and bus shelter in Mysłakowice and the reconstruction of passenger stops in Łomnica Dolna, Łomnica, Mysłakowice Orzeł, Miłków and Karpacz. At the same time, provision was made for the services of a supervisory engineer in the above-mentioned field. Information and promotion boards and an information and promotion event will be installed as part of the information and promotion activities. The aim of this project is to improve the transport accessibility of the Dolnośląskie Region and its peripheral areas by revitalising the railway line on the section Jelenia Góra – Mysłakowice – Karpacz. The modernised railway lines will create a system of connections between transport infrastructure intended for long-distance traffic [Jelenia Góra] and infrastructure for regional and local traffic [Karpacz]. The conditions for the provision of services related to freight and passenger transport and the safety of road users will be improved. In addition, the revitalized railway infrastructure will contribute to increasing the service of tourist attractions by public transport.
