The project involves the reconstruction of a section of provincial road No 346 between Wierzbice and Stary Śleszów in order to improve the technical condition and safety of the existing road connection and its adaptation to the requirements of the applicable technical and construction regulations. This will increase the efficiency of the road infrastructure network in the area of project implementation. The assumed objective of the project coincides with the objective of intervention in the field of transport infrastructure in the FEDS 2021-2027 Programme. The scope of the project has been adjusted to the diagnosis of the current technical condition of the indicated section of the provincial road, the engineering facilities present on it, as well as the advancement of design works of individual stages. Taking into account the above, the implementation of the project in 2 stages was accepted. Stage 1 involves the reconstruction of a section of the provincial road with a length of about 14 km in the design and build formula. Stage 2 involves the expansion of the junction of DW 346 and DW 395 in the Żórawina Commune and construction works on the bridge over the Ślęza River in Marcinkowice, as well as on the bridge over the Jarek trench (Brzoza stream) in Marcinkowice in the build formula. In addition, the project will carry out information and promotion activities in the form of the installation of information boards, marking of documentation resulting from the implementation of the project, as well as publication of promotional information on the Beneficiary's website and on social media.
