The implementation of the project will contribute to the removal of development barriers resulting from the lack of bypasses of many cities in Lower Silesia limiting the opportunities for socio-economic development of the region. In addition, it will improve the communication of areas located on the southern outskirts of Dzierżoniów and take over traffic from the area of the VSES subzone, ultimately an alternative road connection was assumed, leading traffic from west to east on the DW 382, which is the so-called corridor of the Podsudecka road, belonging to the most important in the province as an alternative connection to the overloaded A4 motorway. The investment is part of the improvement of the transport accessibility of Dzierżoniów, which next to such urban centers, i.e. Bolesławiec, Złotoryja, Jawor, Świdnica, Ząbkowice Śląskie were indicated as medium-sized cities losing their socio-economic functions, at the same time driving car traffic out of the area of the city of Dzierżoniów. The above will increase the efficiency of the road infrastructure network in the area of project implementation and is in line with the specific objective FEDS 2021-2027 Development and improvement of sustainable, climate-resilient, intelligent and intermodal mobility at national, regional and local level, including improved access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility (ERDF). The project is the last - third stage of the construction of the Dzierżoniów bypass, and includes the construction of a section of road with a length of approx. 5.9 km with intersections, roads serving the provincial road and infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists. The project was divided into tasks: the first covering the preparation of documentation necessary to submit a project application, the second - covering the preparation of technical documentation, construction works, easements necessary to carry out the investment together with legal services, the service of a contract engineer. The third task involves the implementation of promotional activities – the event summarising the project, the production of information and promotion boards.
