The project involves the reconstruction of a section of provincial road No. 297 between Lwówek Śląski and Pasiecznik. The road runs through towns from the north direction: Lwówek Śląski, Mojesz, Pławna Dolna, Golejów, Wojciechów. Voivodship Road No. 297 complements the basic road network of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. In the Dolnośląskie Province, it connects the A18 motorway, the A4 motorway, national road No 94 and national road No 30, as well as provincial roads No 382 and 364. The section planned for reconstruction is located between the provincial road No 364 and the national road No 30, and thus constitutes an inter-node connection. This section, after the reconstruction, will have an impact on the formation of traffic flows, enabling the relief of fragments of national road No. 30 and provincial roads No. 364. The implementation of the project will allow to adapt the existing connection to the standards resulting from the technical and construction regulations. As a result of the project, it was assumed that driving comfort would be improved, traffic flow increased, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and thus reduced emissions and pollutants. This will increase the efficiency of the road infrastructure network in the area of project implementation and contribute to the specific objective FEDS 021-2027 Development and improvement of sustainable climate-resilient smart and intermodal mobility at national, regional and local level, including improved access to the TEN-T network and cross-border mobility. The implementation of the project was divided into tasks: the first is preparation, which includes the preparation of documentation necessary to submit an application for co-financing, the second is the preparation of technical documentation, obtaining permits, construction works [in the design - build formula] along with the costs of network connections, research, costs of the Contract Engineer. The third task involves carrying out an information and promotion activity in the form of organizing an information and promotion event and installing information boards, marking documentation resulting from the implementation of the project, as well as publishing promotional information on the website and on social media.
