The project consists in the revitalization of railway line No. 318 on the section Srebrna Góra - Bielawa Zachodnia. As part of the project, it is planned to carry out design works, construction works, installation of railway traffic control equipment and promotional activities. The implementation of the project will contribute to the removal of development barriers resulting from the decapitated and incomplete network of railway connections limiting the socio-economic development opportunities of the region. The aim of the project is to revitalise the indicated section of the railway line, which will allow the development of rail transport outside the TEN-T network and improve communication coherence. The above objective is compatible with the assumptions adopted in the strategic documents of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, i.e. the Strategy for the Development of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2030 and the Transport Infrastructure Development Plan in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with a perspective until 2030. The project will be implemented in three stages: Stage I includes the revitalisation of the railway line from km 28,295 to km 24,300. On 10 July 2024, a design and build contract was concluded with the contractor of the project. Stage II assumes the revitalization of the railway line from km 12,380 to km 24,300, in the build formula. Stage III assumes the installation of railway and road signalling systems from km 12,380 to km 28,295, in the build formula. As part of the project, an inventory service was carried out along with renovation recommendations of the railway line No. 318 between Srebrna Góra and Bielawa Zachodnia from km 12,380 to km 28,295. The contract with the contractor was concluded on 14 June 2022. In addition, the project will carry out information and promotion activities in the form of the organisation of an information and promotion event and the installation of information boards, marking of documentation resulting from the implementation of the project, as well as the publication of promotional information on the website and on social media.
