The project consists of the revitalisation of railway lines Nos 345 and 308 on the Mysłakowice – Kowary – Kamienna Góra section. As part of the project, railway lines No. 308 and 345 will be modernized on the section from Mysłakowice to Kamienna Góra [sections, i.e. from Mysłakowice to Kowar approx. 4, 365 km from km 29, 588 to km 25,223 and from Kowary to Kamienna Góra approx. 23,443 km from km 25,223 to km 1,780. As part of the project, it is planned to carry out design works, construction works [these will be track works for a single-track railway line with engineering facilities, stops for travellers: stop in Kostrzyca, Kowary, Kowary Medium and Pisarzowice and rail-road crossings, the tunnel on railway line No. 308 will be renovated), installation of automatic crossing system devices and promotional activities. The implementation of the project will contribute to the removal of development barriers resulting from the decapitated and incomplete network of railway connections, limiting the opportunities for the socio-economic development of the region. The aim of the project is to revitalise the indicated section of the railway line, which will allow the development of rail transport outside the TEN-T network and improve communication coherence. the Strategy for the Development of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2030 and the Plan for the Development of Transport Infrastructure in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with a perspective until 2030. The modernized railway line will create a system of connections between transport infrastructure intended for long-distance traffic [Jelenia Góra] and infrastructure for regional and local traffic. In addition, the revitalized railway infrastructure will contribute to increasing the service of tourist attractions by public transport. Stage I - revitalisation of line No 308 on the Mysłakowice-Kowary section, on 18 September 2024, a contract was concluded with the contractor of the design and build task.In this stage, preparatory works in the form of the necessary felling of trees were also taken into account, the contract for felling trees was concluded on 27 December 2023. Stage II - revitalization of railway lines No. 308 and 345 on the section Kowary - Kamienna Góra with the renovation of a tunnel with a length of 1 025 m. in km14,374 in the formula design and build. Stage III - installation of automatic crossing system devices in the build formula. In addition, information and promotion activities will be carried out as part of the project in the form of the organization of an information and promotion event and the installation of information boards, marking documentation created during the implementation of the project, as well as the publication of promotional information on the website and social media.
