The Kobierzyce – Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie – Piława Górna railway line No 310 is an incomplete and decapitated line. The need for its revitalization results from the assumptions adopted in the strategic documents of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, i.e. the Strategy for the Development of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2030 and the Transport Infrastructure Development Plan in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with a perspective until 2030. The implementation of the task will improve the communication cohesion of the region, and in particular the communication service of the Wrocław Functional Area. The project provides for modernization works involving the design and execution of works consisting in felling trees and shrubs and measuring works, dismantling the track, removing ballast, cutting the track bench, renovation of the drainage system, laying the track on concrete sleepers, modernization of engineering structures, passenger stops and railway crossings on the Kobierzyce - Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie section. On the Kobierzyce – Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie – Piława Górna section, the project planned works related to the design and installation of automatic crossing signalling devices. The works carried out are to ensure an increase in the capacity of the railway line resulting from technical conditions, the speed of the passage will be increased to the maximum design speed resulting from the geometry of the railway line, thereby improving the punctuality parameters. The implementation of the project includes 3 stages: Stage I - Installation of automatic signalling devices on the section Łagiewniki - Piława Górna from km 21,300 to km 38,645 in the formula design and build. On 17-08-2023, a contract was signed with the contractor of the task. Stage II - Revitalization of the railway line on the section Kobierzyce - Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie from km 0.174 to km 21,300 in the formula design and build. At this stage, the preparatory work in the form of the necessary felling of trees was also taken into account. The contract for cutting was concluded on 02-10-2024. Stage III - Construction of automatic signalling devices Kobierzyce - Łagiewniki Dzierżoniowskie from km 0.174 to km 21,300 in the formula design and build. In addition, the project will carry out information and promotion activities in the form of the organization of an information and promotion event and the installation of information boards, marking documentation resulting from the implementation of the project, as well as the publication of promotional information on the website and on social media.
