The project involves the construction of a section of provincial road No. 333 in Lubin, on Legnicka Street. As part of the project, it is planned to build two intersections, engineering facilities: viaduct over the railway line and economic passage, walking and cycling roads and raising the technical parameters of the road, which is to improve the technical condition and safety of the existing infrastructure by removing the one-level intersection with the railway line. Alignment with existing technical and construction regulations will increase the efficiency of the road infrastructure network in the area of project implementation. The assumed objective of the project coincides with the objective of intervention in the field of transport infrastructure in the FEDS 2021-2027 programme and fits into the types of projects to be co-financed. As described in the Plan for the Development of Transport Infrastructure in the Dolnośląskie Voivodship with a perspective until 2030, Objective 7 ‘Improvement of communication services for the Legnica-Głogów Functional Area’. The planned provincial road is a direct connection to the S3 road, which is part of the TEN-T network. The scope of the project has been adapted to the diagnosis of the current technical condition. Taking into account the above, the project of the Functional and Utility Program was commissioned and a contract was signed for the implementation of the task in the design and build formula. In addition, the project will carry out information and promotion activities in the field of installation of information boards, marking of documentation resulting from the implementation of the project, and will also publish promotional information on the beneficiary's website and on its social media.
