The aim of the project is to develop sustainable tourism in the municipality of Żmigród through the construction of three sections of the Barycz Valley bicycle route, which is an element of the Lower Silesian Cyclostrada. Direct support concerns the social sphere, by enabling the use of the built cycling infrastructure by tourists, the local community and various organizations. Indirect support also covers the economic sphere, because the next step implemented by these organizations will be, for example, the organization of cycling events, i.e. rallies, races. The increased number of tourists will generate increased demand for adequate tourism infrastructure and accompanying services (gastronomy, accommodation, services, etc.). Thus, the implementation of the project will strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation – i.e. the specific objective ERDF.CP4.VI FEDS. As a result of the project, a public and open tourist cycling infrastructure will be created, which will not generate any profit. The built cycling route will be marked with uniform signs (color and number) that will ensure safe and peaceful travel for every tourist of any level of skill and experience and at any time of the year, in all weather conditions. Throughout the implementation of the project, information and promotion activities will be carried out, including the development and display of posters and information boards, information about the project on websites.
