The project aims to strengthen and promote the role of culture in social life by reconstructing the building of the Municipal Theatre in Świdnica in order to increase the availability of infrastructure for conducting cultural activities, including adapting the facility to the needs of people with special needs. The need to implement the project results from the need to adapt the building fulfilling an important role in the social and cultural life of the inhabitants of the City of Świdnica to the needs of the local community and to the possibility of using them fully, as intended. Thanks to the modernization of cultural institutions, the standard of social life of the inhabitants will be improved and the tourist attractiveness of the region will increase. The material scope of the project includes: Task 1 Reconstruction of the building of the Municipal Theatre in Świdnica - Construction works including: redevelopment/modernisation of installations: electrical, plumbing, fire and alarm alarm, mechanical ventilation, c.o. and air-conditioning. This also applies to the modernization of sanitary and social rooms as well as technical rooms, offices, cloakrooms, decorators and wardrobes. The scope of works also includes the modernization, arrangement and furnishing of the interiors of the foyer, the performance room, the other rooms of the theatre as well as communication routes and accompanying rooms and the elimination of architectural barriers. Task 2 - Reconstruction of the building of the Municipal Theatre in Świdnica - theatrical technology including: According to the financial statement: reconstruction/modernization of the stage and proscenium with stage mechanics, electroacoustic system and technological lighting Task 3 Investor's supervision Task 4 Author's supervision Task 5 Indirect costs. Currently, the building of the Municipal Theatre in Świdnica is non-functional and not adapted to the current needs of society, and above all to the needs of people with disabilities. Lack of modern solutions, outdated infrastructure and equipment cause limitations in the possibility of using the Theatre for the cultural development of the City of Świdnica. The implementation of the project will solve socio-economic problems, i.e.: -lack of modern and friendly cultural infrastructure -lack of modern technical solutions and solutions enabling effective use of the facility -low quality of cultural services provided/ -limited cultural offer -lack of rooms meeting the standards for conducting cultural classes and workshops -poor offer of cultural activities -failure to adapt the facilities and wardrobe to the requirements of artists/teams/organisations -lack of adaptation of the facility to the requirements of people with disabilities -lack of adaptation of the facility for women with small children. All the above-mentioned problems will be eliminated thanks to the reconstruction / modernization of the building and equipment with modern equipment allowing to create a friendly space for the residents of Świdnica. The project is directly related to the specific objective of Priority 6 European Funds closer to the inhabitants of Lower Silesia, as well as the objective of the action FEDS.06.01 Local development - ITI strategies Integrated Territorial Investments. In line with the objective, the project supports integrated and inclusive economic, social and cultural development and the development and promotion of cultural heritage and services. The objective of Priority 6 will be achieved through modernization and adaptation of the building of the Municipal Theatre in Świdnica. The Applicant shall be responsible for all planned information and promotion activities, including social media service, Applicant's website, information and promotion in the media, marking of the project, equipment and all materials produced in the project.
