Dreams kindergarten in the municipality of Bardo

The aim of the project is to increase the effectiveness of pre-school education in the municipality of Bardo, thanks to a wide range of activities addressed to children and kindergarten staff as part of the School and Pre-school Complex in Barda with a branch in Przyłęka. Currently, there are 98 children, 7 teachers and 6 non-pedagogical employees. The kindergarten is located in two facilities, including one shared with the primary school. Due to the problems of accommodation (limited space, lack of adaptation to people with disabilities - motor, visual, auditory, etc.) and the lack of additional activities for children, the units are not filled in 100%. Some parents were forced to place their children in a private kindergarten in Brzeźnica or in other institutions in nearby Kłodzko. To remedy this, measures are planned to significantly improve the conditions and level of pre-primary education. I.e.: • Adaptation works in the building of the kindergarten in Bardo, taking into account the needs of people with disabilities and special educational needs, including the construction of a new entrance to the kindergarten in the form of a vestibule with a ramp allowing access to wheelchairs and people with physical disabilities (currently children and parents must enter the kindergarten through the school, which significantly hinders the functioning of both institutions), as well as a thorough modernisation of the sanitary rooms with an entrance corridor and adaptation of the halls enabling all children of the kindergarten to be gathered in one facility in Barda. • Equipping the facility with modern multimedia devices, teaching aids, including activities with children requiring support from the early stage of development. • A number of full-time activities for children, mainly from type 8.1A, but also with elements of types 8.1 D, 8.1 E and 8.1F. Classes will be addressed to all age groups from 3 to 6 years old, albeit with adaptation to the level of participants and the needs indicated in the diagnosis to the project. These will be: 1. Wise Head Puzzles – Key Competence Development, Logical Thinking, Science. 16 groups of people. 2. Small builders – development of key competences, logical thinking, science. 15 groups of people. 3. Singing circle – music and movement games and games. 12 groups of people. 4. Sensors – games supporting Sensory Integration, revalidation activities. 12 groups of people. 5. Time for board games – development of key competences, logical thinking, science. 7 groups of people. 6. Musicians from the City of Miracles – Emotional, social and cultural development. 10 groups of people. 7. Small artists – art therapy – emotional, social and cultural development. 13 groups of people. 8. Book adventure – fairy tale therapy – getting to know the world. 9 groups of people. 9. Four paws and us – dogotherapy, specialist classes. 12 groups of people. 10. Fun and practical speech therapy, revalidation classes. 19 groups of people. 11. Clever hands and fingers – hand therapy, revalidation activities. 9 groups of people. 12. Adventure with robots – activities developing children’s interests and abilities, development of STEAM and digital competences. 12 groups of people. 13. Magic English – English for preschoolers, development of language skills. 16 groups of people. • Pre-primary staff training, including post-graduate studies – increasing opportunities in the field of early childhood pedagogy, improving the methodology of working with children, development of key competences and in the area of diagnosis and potential developmental problems at an early stage (e.g. Neurologopedia). • Pre-school trips developing ecological and natural knowledge and developing a creative approach to getting to know the world. Such a large scope will be possible thanks to the implementation of classes in the period of IV 2024-VIII 2026. Practices from previous years will be used in the implementation of the project, where the municipality carried out, among others, two projects from the DROP 2014-2020 for the primary school in ZSP Bardo, acquiring valuable experience, and this project will be carried out mostly by the same people. As a result, we will increase the qualifications of the staff, enable comprehensive development of children, including reducing development deficits and creating a fully functional and modern kindergarten.
