TIME OF IMPLEMENTATION: VI’25 – XII’27 IMPLEMENTATION AREA: - The Wałbrzych Commune PROJECT INCLUDES IN THE PURPOSE OF FEDS: Support equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities (ESF+). The aim of the project is to increase the employability of 450 pupils and students (hereinafter referred to as U/U) and to increase the qualifications and skills of 90 teachers from 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych (Team of Schools No. 5, Team of Schools No. 7, Team of Polytechnic Schools "Energetyk") through the implementation of vocational counselling, additional classes, trainings and internships adapting the qualifications of the above-mentioned people to the needs of the labour market, implemented in the period from 06.2025 to 12.2027. PLANNED TASKS: Z1 - Adaptation of rooms and equipping 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych with teaching aids Z2 - Support for students of 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych: Z3 - Support for pupils of 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych: Specialized extracurricular activities Z4 - Support for pupils of 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych: trainings and vocational courses Z5 - Support for pupils of 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych: Professional internships Z6 - Psychological support for students of 3 Wałbrzych teams of vocational schools Z7 - Support for teachers: Specialist training Z8 - Support for teachers: Traineeships Z9 - Support for teachers: Z10 training and courses - Support for teachers: Workshop and supervision meetings Z11 - Support for pupils/students and teachers of 3 teams of vocational schools in Wałbrzych: website DETAILED OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT include: Z1 - adjusting the equipment of schools so that U/U acquire skills on technologically adapted devices/machines with which they will meet at the time of taking up professional work. Z3 - acquisition of additional professional skills and competences by 450 U/U Z4 - acquisition of additional professional qualifications by 120 U/U - participation in training, vocational courses, Z5 - acquisition of new practical skills by 360 U/U - participation in student internships, Z6 - increase in mental resilience by 450 U/U - participation in psychological support Z7-Z10 - acquisition of new skills and competences by 90 school employees - participation in training (90 pers.), courses (15+10 pers.), internships (90 pers.), workshop and supervision meetings. The project fulfils the condition of an integrated project because a common effect and result is declared: the project will have an impact on the surrounding municipalities, i.e. Boguszów-Gorce, Bolków, Czarny Bór, Dobromierz, Głuszyca, Jaworzyna Śląska, Jedlina-Zdrój, Kamienna Góra, Legnica, Lubawka, Mieroszów, Stare Bogaczowice, Strzegom, Szczawno-Zdrój, Świebodzice, Świdnica, Walim, Żarów from which U/U and teachers commute to schools for study and work. SELECTED PROBLEMS to which the Students/Teachers project responds - lack of interest in acquiring additional skills and qualifications, low level of motivation, frequent symptoms of educational burnout, depression and low self-esteem - poor academic performance, frequent drop-outs, poor professional skills Teachers: - the need to improve professional skills and qualifications, e.g. adaptation to the needs of the labour market, - the need to increase knowledge in the field of psychological assistance and crisis intervention, - the lack of financial resources in institutions and bodies providing funding for the professional development of teachers and school staff.
