The aim of the project is to invest in the expansion of the Biomasa Partner Group S.A. plant in Ząbkowice Śląskie and purchase of the necessary fixed assets in order to transform the plant towards GOZ, increase the Company's productivity in the field of straw-to-biomass processing, while reducing energy consumption, as well as diversify the product offer by implementing a new type of product produced from straw - briquette - as a substrate for biogas plants and fuel for heating plants. The implementation of the project will enable the introduction of new technologies and production methods that meet the principles of the GOZ and will allow the effective use of residues of biological origin from agriculture (straw biomass) by producing ecological products that can be further used after the end of their life cycle - used padding pellet is used as a substrate in biogas plants. The investment is the implementation of the recommendations from the technological audit carried out in order to transform the ZZ Plant in Ząbkowice Śląskie and includes: • construction of a new warehouse, extension of the storage shed and reconstruction of the production hall to install a straw pre-processing line, • purchase of new fixed assets, including: - straw pre-processing line (1 set), - straw briquette production line (1 set), - pellet granulators (2 pcs), - bulk additive dosing system (1 set), - Big Bag filling station (1 pcs). • Construction management and supervision. The total gross value of the project is PLN 15 764 015.29, of which the amount of eligible costs is PLN 12 413 472.59. The amount of the requested co-financing is PLN 6 937 757.33. The objectives and scope of the investment coincide with the specific objectives of the FEDS 2021-2027 and indicated in the TPST, which is economic activation and strengthening competitiveness by using the endogenous potential of the subregion in a way that guarantees the achievement of the objectives of reducing low emissions and decarbonisation. The investment will be implemented in the period from 01.07.2024 to 10.10.2025. Planned socio-economic benefits: • increasing the company's production potential for processing residues of biological origin from agriculture (production of biomass from straw), • diversification of the product offer, • increasing the company's competitiveness, • creating the potential to generate higher sales revenues, • creating 2 new jobs, • reducing primary energy consumption in the straw processing process, and thus reducing CO2 emissions. Planned information and promotion activities: • informing the public and project participants about the funding received from EU funds, by placing the required signs on: - documents related to the implementation of the project (in electronic and printed versions), - devices purchased in the project, - employment contracts of employees whose positions were created as a result of the implementation of the project. • marking the place of implementation of the project by placing an information board or poster, • placing a description of the project on the official website of the Company and on social media.
