The project aims to reduce primary energy demand and consumption in 8 public buildings located in the rural commune of Nowa Ruda, including: • Żłobku Ludwikowice Kłodzkie, • Sali Dzikowiec 94A, • OSP Czerwieńczyce 77, • OSP Jugów, Chłopów 1, • OSP Dzikowiec 94B, • OSP Sokolec 7, • OSP Włodowice 37, • OSP Wolibórz 116a. This will contribute to reducing the emissions of particulate and gaseous pollutants into the air generated by these facilities, thus reducing their energy intensity and harmful impact of pollution on the environment and human health, and consequently reducing their maintenance costs (especially during the heating season) and significantly relieving the budget of the Nowa Ruda Commune, as well as improving the attractiveness and quality of life of residents of the area in which these facilities are located. The main direct objective of the project is therefore a comprehensive ordering of energy management in 8 public buildings of the Nowa Ruda Commune, by striving to reduce the demand for primary energy by these facilities (by Wed. 77%). The specific direct objectives will be: • reduction of the annual energy consumption costs of the plants concerned, • reduction of pollutant emissions generated by the plants concerned, including reduction of CO2 emissions (a.m. 82%), • increasing the comfort of use of the objects in question. The degree of achievement of the above-mentioned effects will be verified on the basis of indicators, which are shown later in the proposal. In addition, the project will also generate the following long-term intermediate socio-economic objectives: • reducing the energy intensity of the public buildings sector, • increasing the energy efficiency of the region, • permanently improving the air quality of the region, • fulfilling the EU commitments to reduce dust and greenhouse gas emissions adopted by Poland. Therefore, the project fits in with specific objective JSO8.1 in its assumptions. Allowing regions and people to mitigate the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of the transition towards the Union’s 2030 targets for energy and climate and towards a climate-neutral economy of the Union by 2050 based on the Paris Agreement (FST), attributed to project types FEDS.9.5.B Energy efficiency renovation of public infrastructure buildings (Wałbrzych subregion), as the implementation of the projected investment will contribute to promoting the energy efficiency of the 8 public buildings of Nowa Ruda Commune, through the implementation of the most energy efficient technologies. The project will be implemented by the Municipality of Nowa Ruda, which guarantees the proper preparation and further implementation of the project in question, as well as the maintenance of the durability of the products and results resulting from the implementation of the project within the required period of 5 years from the date of the last payment under it to the Municipality, based on its own technical and human resources and experience in the implementation of other projects co-financed from external funds.
