The aim of the project is to increase the export capacity of enterprises from the SME sector from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, economic promotion of the region, through the promotion of the region's brands and the increase of SMEs' competence in internationalization. The project is implemented from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2027 by the Toruń Regional Development Agency S.A. and covers the entire area of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The most important task is granting grants for the participation of companies in the fair and developing strategic documents on the internationalization of SMEs, constituting an Action Plan for companies. In addition, the process of internationalization is supported by the organization of economic missions and a series of specialized trainings. The project provides comprehensive support for companies from the SME sector, depending on individual needs - financial and non-financial. The offered support is addressed both to companies at the beginning of the export route, as well as those more advanced in the process of internationalization. The project complies with the types of projects envisaged to support SMEs under measure 1.3 and covers the following scope: Task 1 - Advising on the development of strategic documents related to the internationalization of activities, i.e. Roadmap for the Exporter – an advisory service is stage 1 of participation in the project for companies and consists of specialist advice provided by experts of the Export Fund. The product of the service will be an Action Plan for the company, which is designed to facilitate the preparation of entrepreneurs for the export process and determine the directions of action, including further support under the FE. Databases will be used to develop the Business Action Plan (task 12). Activity 2 - Support for SME participation in international fairs (Grants) - financial support in the form of grants for participation in international and foreign fairs as an exhibitor. Continuous recruitment is planned, divided into rounds; Task 3 - Training - Export Manager - the task consists in organizing 4 training cycles in the field of internationalization of enterprises, consisting of sample modules to choose from. An analysis of training needs in the field of internationalisation will be carried out. Thanks to this, training recommendations will meet the individual needs of enterprises in this area. Activity 4 - External missions - economic missions - group trips for SMEs to foreign fairs or industry events Economic missions organised by the Operator The purchase of stand buildings is planned for the purpose of the activity (activity 5); Task 6 - Incoming missions - organization of group incoming missions in order to establish cooperation between foreign companies and the SME sector in the region. All activities in the project will be supported by substantive staff, i.e. TARR employees delegated to carry out tasks and service enterprises under the project (Task 7) equipped with laptops (Task 13). In addition, an IT system will be implemented to support the application process (task 8 - generator). For proper implementation of the tool, it is necessary to prepare specifications and substantive support during implementation (task 9). The project also assumes promotion and information activities within the project management costs, including information about the project, organization of 2 conferences and promotion (task 11) related to the recruitment of enterprises, including the organization of meetings for entrepreneurs in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, promotion of pro-export attitudes through activities consisting in promoting the benefits of entering foreign markets (presentation of good practices). The applicant will also incur additional indirect costs related to the implementation of the project. As a result, 100 companies will be supported in the field of internationalization of economic activity. After the end of the project, an evaluation will be carried out (Task 10).
