According to the Commission's recommendations, the development of smart specializations-IS should be carried out on the basis of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process-PPO.In the region, it was initiated. at the stage of creating pro-innovation strategies based on the development and implementation of pro-innovation activities, as well as within the framework of work on RIS3 2021+.The state of the element of creating regional IS and therefore in accordance with RIS3 2021+ cannot be a one-off process.The implementation of the project will allow planning works under the PPO and individual stages of analysis, inference and development of the most effective solutions, in the time necessary to systematize the PPO and develop and consolidate activities for further years.The objective of the PPO is: •analysis of hitherto selected regional IS and search for niches and opportunities for their development optimization of the effectiveness of the process of supporting economic development in IS areas, by developing solutions in this area, which can be implemented in the development policy of the voivodship, •improving the monitoring system of RIS3 2021+ findings by proposing solutions that are more effective and/or allow to obtain more complete and reliable knowledge on the monitored issues.The effect of the work under the project will be, among others, the creation of an ecosystem of support for individual IS based on planned, cyclical meetings of stakeholders of the process, equipped with knowledge and competences, focused on developing solutions for the development of individual regional smart specializations.In addition, reports, analyses, research works on IS and economic development will be created. The project assumes the implementation of 5 tasks.Task I Preparation and launch of the PPO Before launching tasks related to conducting cooperation with partners - stakeholders in the development of innovative economy in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship, the implementation of the task aimed at preparing the above process for implementation.At this stage, documents and action schemes under the PPO will be refined, initiating meetings will be implemented.Task II Implementation of the PPO Component of the PPO assuming the participation of a group of experts with knowledge about the situation of the region and its innovation, as well as stakeholders.
