The aim of the project is to support energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Lubanie Commune by modernizing local heating plants in public utility buildings using RES. The project is implemented in the Municipality of Luban in public facilities: 1. Municipal Cultural Centre in Luban, (The scope of the impact of the proposed investment is included in plots No 103/4 of the Luban district of Luban.) 2. Department of Municipal Services in Luban (The scope of impact of the planned investment is included in plots No 103/13 of the Luban district of Luban) 3. Village lighting in the TSO building in Ustroń (The scope of impact of the planned investment is included in plots No 84/1, 84/4, 84/5 of the district of Ustronie gm.Lubanie) 4. Village lighting in the TSO building in Janowice (The scope of impact of the planned investment is included in plots No 144/1, 145/1 of the district of Janowice gm. Lubanie) Activity 1: Renovation of local heating plants in public utilities using RES Task 2: Investor supervision Task 3: The project assumes the modernization of heat sources in the buildings of the Municipal Cultural Center in Luban, rural community centers in Ustroń and Janowice, the building of the Municipal Services Department in Luban, using RES. The promotion of the project will consist in placing information boards on buildings in which the modernisation of local heating plants will be carried out (included in the indirect costs), a description of the project on the website, in social media, marking documents, stickers on the purchased equipment (activities carried out at no cost). The material scope of the investment has been adjusted to the identified qualitative and quantitative deficiencies of the current system. According to Art. 4, point 3, subsection 3 Construction law for heat pumps does not require notification of construction works or building permit. However, two facilities (the Municipal Cultural Centre in Luban, the Municipal Services Department in Luban) are located in the conservation protection zone, therefore, in accordance with point 7(2), they require notification. The intention was reported to the conservator of monuments and the application to the starosty. The applicant has valid applications. The project complies with the principle of equality between women and men. The project clearly specifies that at no stage of the project implementation, including the selection of the contractor, will criteria be applied that could lead to discrimination against persons based on sex, age, race, religion, belief, disability or sexual orientation. These actions demonstrate a commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all.
