Modernisation of the water treatment plant in the municipality of Dobrcz

The project involves the modernisation of a water treatment plant in the town of Trzeciewiec through the construction of two above-ground retention tanks with a capacity of 150 m3 each, together with the expansion of the water supply network and associated infrastructure. The project also plans to modernise the water treatment plant in Dobrcz by constructing one ground-based retention reservoir with a capacity of 150 m3 together with the expansion of the water supply network and associated infrastructure. The applicant also assumes the implementation of promotional activities as part of its own resources. Planned: 1. placing permanent information boards on the project site highlighting the fact of receiving co-financing from the European Union; 2. placing a short description of the project on the official website of the municipality; 3. publications on information services (municipal quarterly, municipal websites) – means of public communication through which information can be widely disseminated to potential users and all interested parties, while promoting the idea of using EU support to strengthen the development of the region; 4. other promotional activities, including social media and regional media - communal flesh. All promotional activities will be visibly marked with the sign of the European Funds, the sign of the colours of the Republic of Poland (in full colour) and the sign of the European Union and the coat of arms of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship on: all information and publicity activities relating to the project, - all printed or digital documents and materials made available to the public, - all documents and materials for project participants. The obligation to implement information and promotion measures arises from the provisions of the ‘Guidelines on information and promotion of the European Funds for 2021-2027’. Promotional activities will be addressed to the inhabitants of the Bydgoszcz Functional Area and, above all, all residents of the Dobrcz Commune. The main objective of the project is to reduce water losses and effectively use existing drinking water resources by modernizing water treatment stations in Dobrcz and Trzeciewiec. The investment is in line with the objective of measure 2.10 Efficient management of drinking water and improvement of its quality BydOF-IP of the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomerania 2021-2027 programme, which reads: "Fostering access to water and sustainable water management", as it aims to reduce water losses and make efficient use of existing drinking water resources. The modernization of the SUW through the construction of retention reservoirs will ensure uninterrupted water supply to the locality, and will also allow to reduce water losses that currently occur in water supply systems in the Dobrcz Commune. The project is in line with the types of projects to be supported under measure 2.10. The project is technically, financially and economically feasible and will bring significant societal benefits. The implementation schedule developed for the project is realistic and takes into account the time needed for the implementation of public procurement procedures. The material scope of the project and the established tender procedures are feasible and condition the timely implementation of the project. The applicant has the required decisions, including building permits – Decision No 955/2023 of 09.11.2023 (ref.: WB.6740.807.2023) and Decision No 960/2023 of 13.11.2023 (ref.: WB.6740.956.2023) issued by Starosta Bydgoski. The project has a positive impact on equal opportunities policies for women and men and demonstrates compliance with equal opportunities and non-discrimination policies, including accessibility for persons with disabilities.
