Protection of biodiversity through the protection of pollinators in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship

Project on increasing the natural potential of Kuj.-Pom. through activities related to the protection of pollinator species along with educational and information activities aimed at raising the awareness of the inhabitants of the region in terms of social behavior in relation to landscape values and key natural resources. The implementation will take place within all 10 KP kuj.-pom. Material scope of the project: 1.Preparatory work, including elaboration of the application document (external service) 2.Natural inventory and identification of threats to pollinators in the Kuj.-Pom. province conducted by 30 specialists and 5 entomologists. The task includes the elaboration and selection of 600 inventory transects, carrying out an inventory together with the elaboration of graphic / tabular / photographic summaries – 30 items. 3.Analysis of honey composition – purchase of at least 100 honey samples for analysis of the pollen composition of honey, analysis of the content of chemical compounds, analysis of the content of mechanical impurities. 4.Establishment of flower meadows in various environments with a total area of approx. 6.5 ha are useful places for wild pollinators in areas of landscape parks, including the rehabilitated landfill in Tucholski PK. 5.Purchase of houses and watering-pots for pollinators – min. 50 items on the premises of selected PK. 6.Purchase of materials and equipment for conducting at least 200 workshops for preschoolers, pupils, youth and seniors on the role of pollinators for society - each park will conduct an average of 25 workshops. The implementation of the task includes the purchase of necessary help and educational materials. 7. Conducting at least 40 workshops for farmers on allies such as pollinators for agriculture, each of the parks will conduct 5 workshops. 8.Organisation of 3 study visits (foreign), including one each to Slovenia, Germany and Lithuania. Each study visit will be attended by approx. 10 pers. 9.Organisation of an educational festival under the theme "Great day of small pollinators", which will include a number of exhibitions, landscape park stands, competitions, workshops, demonstrations of works and activities in the field of beekeeping, exhibitions of natural products along with the possibility of creating an insect house on their own. 10.Organisation of an educational conference entitled "Protection of biodiversity through the protection of pollinators in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship" summarising the effects and results of the project. 11.Preparation and printing of publications: Guide to Good Beekeeper Practices, Guide to Good Practices for Society on effective methods to halt the decline trend in pollinator population - World by pollinators, Plan for the protection of pollinators for the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. 12.Indirect costs - project management costs including public procurement and information and promotion activities (inform.-prom posters. 400 pcs., information in local radio, press or internet portals.,provoking activities on official internal pages and social media portals. Voivodships and PK, blog in the social media, elaboration and distribution of leaflets inform.-prom. in printed form with QR code-2400pcs., stickers with FE logotypes, 8 roll-ups, banner prom., presentation of the project at the conference, logotypes on documents and materials concerning the project. Implementation is planned for 2024-2029. The applicant is the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the entity implementing the Gostynińsko-Włocławski Landscape Park acting on behalf of all parks in the province. The action is not an infrastructure project, i.e. for its feasibility it is not necessary to have project documentation, permits or notifications.
