Construction of a retention and infiltration reservoir in Sulnówek

The subject of the Project is the construction of: Retention and infiltration reservoir, rainwater sewage system, two ditches, internal road and individual exit in Sulnówk on plots no. 29/1, 29/3 and 29/5, in the Commune of the World. The investment will be carried out in an urbanised rural area other than the city. Scope of the planned investment: - felling of greenery interfering with the investment, - making water equipment in the form of: retention and infiltration reservoir, grass trench, trench reinforced with openwork slabs, four outlets, - construction of rainwater sewerage, - maintenance works (removal of the existing trench and culvert), - construction of an internal road, - construction of an individual exit. The main objective of the investment is adaptation activities consisting in the construction of a retention and infiltration tank with a capacity of 2180 m3 in order to retain rainwater and meltwater, and then the use of accumulated water for economic purposes. In addition to the tank, water equipment will be made in the form of two ditches (rivers reinforced with openwork slabs R1 and grass ditch R2) and four outlets. The construction of the R1 trench covers the section from the designed outlet from the tank to the designed outlet located in the existing receiver (river), while the construction of the R2 trench covers the section from the existing culvert under the district road to the outlet in the designed R1 trench. The existing culvert under the district road and the existing ditch will be de-mummed and cleaned of pollution. The location of the investment is at a distance of approx. 600 m from the Vistula Park II industrial zone located in the neighboring village of Sulnowo, therefore the main function of the reservoir will be to hold a wave of naval rain from the industrial zone and neighboring areas. Drainage of rainwater and meltwater will be carried out, after their purification, to the designed reservoir, and excess of these waters will be drained through the designed outlet and trench R1, to the existing receiver (row). Rainwater and meltwater from the area in question will be included in a closed rainwater sewage system used to discharge precipitation to a water facility and will not be able to contain polluting substances in quantities exceeding the indicators specified in the water permit. Before being discharged into the designed reservoir and the existing trench, these waters will be treated with a petroleum separator and a sandblaster. A panel fence with a gate was designed around the tank. The investment area is located on the district road No. 1259C of the Sulnówko-Sulnowo route. In order to ensure the transport service of the reservoir, it is planned to build a descent from the district road and an internal road connected with the descent with a diversion at the end. The surface of the exit and the road will be made of permeable Yomb type openwork slabs. Along the right edge of the roadway and at the diversion, a grass band will be made. There are trees and shrubs in the investment area. The felling of trees interfering with the investment is planned to be limited to a minimum (the Municipality has a permit for felling), in return, new plantings of native trees will be created in the Municipality of Świecie. The applicant has the design documentation and legally required permits, decisions, arrangements necessary for the implementation of the Project (e.g. decision on the location of the public purpose investment, decision on water permit, decision on construction permit, decision on felling trees). As part of the project, a promotional section is planned: description of the Project on the Beneficiary's website and in the social media. (free of charge), information board (own cost outside the Project). Promotion activities and documents related to the implementation will be marked with the European Funds sign, the colours of the Republic of Poland, the EU sign and the coat of arms of the voivodeship. The project is part of the specific objective: Support climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, as well as resilience, taking into account an ecosystem-based approach.
