The aim of the project is to increase the quality of public transport services. The project includes 3 tasks: 1:Purchase of 11 trams with service and repair package and specialized maintenance equipment 2:Development of study and application documentation 3:Intermediate costs The project includes the purchase of 11 (10 long and 1 short) modern trams with a 100% share of low floor, allowing the decommissioning of 11 Konstal 805 trams. The price of the trams will include specialized maintenance equipment and a repair and operation package. As part of the task, an additional car crane (specialized tram service equipment) and two complete carriage carriages (operation and repair package) will be purchased. The project is in line with the document FEdKP 2021-2027 under priority 3 European Funds for Sustainable Urban Transport and specific objective 2(VIII) supporting sustainable, multimodal urban mobility as part of the transition towards a zero-emission economy. The project is in line with the BydOF 2030+ ITI Strategy, which has received a positive opinion from the Minister responsible for regional development and the MA. The project implements strategic objective 3 Building a coherent spatial order of the area, including a sustainable transport system and operational objective 3.2 Sustainable and coherent metropolitan transport. The project is on the list of basic projects. The subject matter, scope and manner of implementation ensure compliance with horizontal principles, i.e. with the Charter of Fundamental Rights, KoPON, the Principle of equality between women and men and equal opportunities and non-discrimination in the absence of indirect discrimination in trams through pictograms, information in the fare list, mobile ticket machines and the location of cash registers in a foreign language (more SW Roz. 3.2). The project is in line with the principle of sustainable development underpinning all contemporary strategy papers: European, national and regional, including but not limited to: White Paper, Sustainable Europe 2030. The project supports the development of tram transport, which, according to SUMP BydOF, is to be the axis of development of the public transport system in Bydgoszcz and implementation of sustainable mobility. The project is part of the package entitled Bydgoszcz Tram Grass. Accessibility of rolling stock for people with disabilities is ensured by: 100% low floor, which facilitates entry and exit, on-board SDIP, facilitating spatial orientation and realization of travel and development of passenger space according to the principles of universal design. The project will reduce the burden on the environment by reducing pollutant emissions in the absence of:interference in infrastructure, delineation of new lines and progressive occupation of space. The project does not do significant harm according to the DNSH assessment. The project mitigates climate change, does not harm climate change adaptation, protection of water resources, biodiversity and habitats. This is achieved, among others, by increasing the attractiveness of PTZ and, as a result, reducing the number of individual transport journeys. The project involves public aid for services in accordance with EU rules (extended SW Roz.9.4). Promotion: logging trams and documentation, information on the website and on social networks (e.g. facebook) of the City of Bydgoszcz and ZDMiKP and announcement in the local press in electronic version-1 pcs. On 6 February 2023, the manufacturer received notification of the activation of option I under Agreement No 116/TO/2022 of 26 July 2022 for the supply of trams concluded as a result of an open tender for the purchase of 10 trams in the scope of the basic contract and 36 in the option. The trams ordered under this project will be delivered successively in Q4 2018. 2024 – Q4 2025.
