Public transport system infrastructure in Inowrocław MOF

The project concerns the reconstruction and modernization of public transport infrastructure in the Inowrocław MOF, including: • modernisation of public transport stops – exchange of shelters, including ‘green stops’ and solar powered stops; ticket machines, passenger information system – stop signs, monitoring installation. • reconstruction of the bus loop in Mątwach for public transport purposes (with an additional pantograph) with park&ride parking, technical infrastructure, construction of buildings and installation of a photovoltaic installation. A one-storey public utility building, a bus loop service building, with a waiting room for passengers, social facilities for drivers, an automated public shuttle, a bicycle parking lot, technical facilities and a platform roof are being designed. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of services and increase the use of public transport in the area of Inowrocław along with reducing the negative impact of transport on the environment. The project included tasks related to the preparation of technical projects, carrying out the necessary construction works and supplies, as well as indirect costs. Information and promotion activities will be carried out under indirect costs, in accordance with the provisions of the recruitment documentation. The following tasks remain within the material scope of the project: 1. Development of project documentation – stops. 2. Development of design documentation – bus loop. 3. Reconstruction of the bus loop. 4. Replacement of bus shelters with equipment. 5. Indirect costs. The project plans to use the following information and promotion tools: - placing in the place of project implementation (bus loop) an information board highlighting the fact of receiving co-financing from the European Union, - information about the project and the co-financing obtained on the Applicant's website, i.e. www.inowrocław.pl and on the profile of the City of Inowrocław on the facebook platform, - marking stops with posters informing about the sources of project financing. The investment will be implemented in 2022-2026. The implementation of the investment will contribute to increasing the use of public transport and improving the availability of public transport in Inowrocław. The project is complementary to the implemented infrastructural activities related to the development of public transport in the city area. The initiatives will reduce urban congestion, strengthen the role of urban public transport, improve traffic safety and fluidity, and reduce pollutant emissions. The project demonstrates full readiness for implementation, i.e.: • The applicant has the right to dispose of the real estate covered by the project for the purposes of the project. • The material scope of the investment was developed on the basis of project and cost documentation prepared in accordance with the provisions of the construction law. • A valid building permit has been obtained and construction works not requiring a building permit have been notified. The solutions applied in the project are fully compliant with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in accordance with Article 9 of the Regulation. 2021/1060. The results and outcomes of the project will be available on an equal basis and in a non-discriminatory manner to all beneficiaries. The project will apply accessibility standards for cohesion policy for 2021-2027. The project has a positive impact on the policy of equality between women and men. The analysis of the needs for the implementation of the project did not reveal any inequalities in terms of infrastructure covered by the project, in the context of equality between women and men. The project does not plan activities that will directly affect gender equality. A further part of the justification is provided in the Annex Investment plan.
