The project includes the purchase and supply of 5 low-floor electric buses with charging infrastructure and the construction of a SN/nN transformer station with power connections for public transport in Inowrocław. The project included tasks related to carrying out supplies, necessary construction works and indirect costs. Information and promotion activities will be carried out under indirect costs, in accordance with the provisions of the recruitment documentation. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of services and increase the use of public transport in the area of Inowrocław along with reducing the negative impact of transport on the environment. The implementation of the project, through the purchase of new electric buses with the necessary infrastructure, implements the assumptions of the low-emission strategy in transport, as well as fits into the policy of development of public transport of the city and the entire Inowrocław MOF. The following tasks remain within the material scope of the project: 1. Purchase of 5 electric buses with 3 chargers. 2. Construction of 3 charging stations with a transformer station and power connections. 3. Task 3. Indirect costs. The project also includes information and promotion activities: -Insert, in the place of project implementation, a plaque highlighting the fact of receiving co-financing from the European Union. -information about the project and the funding obtained on the Applicant's website and on the city's social media profile. -marking the rolling stock by affixing stickers indicating the sources of financing for the investment. The investment will be implemented in 2024-2027. The implementation of the investment will contribute to increasing the use of public transport and improving the availability of public transport in Inowrocław. The project is complementary to the implemented infrastructural activities related to the development of public transport in the city area. The initiatives will reduce urban congestion, strengthen the role of urban public transport, improve traffic safety and fluidity, and reduce pollutant emissions. The project demonstrates full readiness for implementation, i.e.: • The applicant has the right to dispose of the real estate covered by the project for the purposes of the project. • The investment in respect of rolling stock is a purchase project which does not require a building permit or notification. An open call for tenders has been launched for the award of a contract for the purchase of rolling stock and technical infrastructure. • For the task concerning the construction of three charging stations and a transformer station with power connections, a construction project has been developed and a final building permit decision has been obtained (Decision 68/2024 of 2 July 2024 together with the transfer of 5 July 2024). The solutions applied in the project are fully compliant with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in accordance with Article 9 of the Regulation. 2021/1060. The results and outcomes of the project will be available on an equal basis and in a non-discriminatory manner to all beneficiaries. The project will apply accessibility standards for cohesion policy for 2021-2027. The project has a positive impact on the policy of equality between women and men. The analysis of the needs for the implementation of the project did not reveal any inequalities in terms of infrastructure covered by the project, in the context of equality between women and men. The project does not plan activities that will directly affect gender equality. A further part of the justification is provided in the Annex Investment plan.
