Purchase of a truck in the Mechanical School Complex in Grudziądz

The project includes the purchase of a truck for learning to drive along with the bodywork. The car is necessary to carry out the curriculum at the first-degree industry school in the profession of mechanical driver, whose basic education provides for the implementation of an initial qualification course and driving instruction for a category C driving license for all students studying in this profession. Students with special educational needs can be trained as a mechanic driver after conducting psychological tests for professional drivers and medical examinations for category C. The direction of a mechanic driver is of great interest to young people, and the possibility of pursuing driving lessons for category C is a huge advantage of the direction. The school does not have a truck in its resources, which is why the planned investment will contribute to improving the quality of education and achieving good results of exams confirming qualifications in the profession of mechanic driver. The purchase of a truck results from a change in the program basis for the direction of a mechanic driver, based on the diagnosed needs of the school. The implementation of the task assumes the impact on improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational education and adapting vocational education to the needs of the labour market. To this extent, it is necessary to carry out a number of activities related to the improvement of students' skills, acquisition of competences and professional qualifications, in line with the needs of the labour market. The main problem: Insufficient equipment for practical apprenticeships. Main objective: Provision of appropriate equipment for practical apprenticeships. The scope of the project includes the purchase of a truck for driving lessons along with a body for ZSM in Grudziądz, which includes Technikum No. 4 and the Industry School I Grade No. 3. The car is necessary for the implementation of the core curriculum at the school in the profession of mechanical driver. The basis of education requires students to complete an initial qualification course for category C and a driving course for category C. The project also plans to build a garage for storing a car.
