The subject of the project is the reconstruction, renovation, equipment of facilities for the needs of running training or assisted housing, addressed to various groups of people: 1. elderly people, people with disabilities, including those requiring support in everyday functioning; 2.families and children due to a difficult life situation; 3. in a mental health crisis; 4. persons in the crisis of homelessness and at risk of homelessness. The aim of the project is to create three apartments for people with mental disorders and other disabilities. The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Foundation for Assistance to the Elderly and Disabled has been running DPS “Kraft Haus” in Toruń since 2017, offering innovative forms of support tailored to individual needs. The Foundation noted the need for alternative assistance for people who do not require round-the-clock care, but need support in everyday life. In Toruń at ul. Włocławek 86B was opened two assisted apartments for adults with mental disorders. The project aims to improve the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities, enabling them to participate more fully in social and professional life. Assisted housing is to provide comprehensive care and personal and medical support. As part of the project, it is planned to: 1. renovation works of the first floor of the building in Toruń at ul. Włocławska 86b, where 3 assisted flats will be separated for people with mental disorders and those struggling with other disabilities: - the first apartment with an area of 49.36 m2 - 2 rooms for 2 people, - the second apartment with an area of 59.96 m2 - 3 rooms for 3 people - the third apartment with an area of 53.19m2 - 2 rooms for 2 people 2. installation of an external vertical platform that will facilitate the transport of people with mobility disabilities. 3. Equipping assisted housing with the necessary equipment and household items necessary for the functioning of a person with mental disorders. Equipment of assisted housing is crucial to ensure the comfort and independence of residents. Investment in the provision of assisted housing is not only an investment in infrastructure, but above all in the quality of life of persons with disabilities, enabling them to become more independent and socially integrated. Full kitchen equipment allows residents to prepare meals, which is very important for their independence and independent functioning in society. All housing equipment complies with the Regulation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy of 30 October 2023 on training and assisted housing. Each apartment will be equipped with: beds with drawers and mattress, wardrobe for clothes, nightstand, duvet, pillow, bed linen set with sheet, desk lamp, TV, TV holder, desk, swivel chair, blanket, bath towels, hand towels, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, iron, set of pots and pan, set of cutlery, kitchen table, upholstered chair, dryer for dishes, fridge, hood, stove with oven, microwave, cabinet for jackets and shoes with seat and mirror for the hallway, sink, sink, sink batteries, shower column with battery, bathroom handles, sink cabinet, bathroom pillar, wall lamp, WC compact with detachable board, anti-slip shower chair, day/night blinds, clothes dryer, washing machine, laundry basket, mirror.
