The main objective of the project is to support equal opportunities for women and men from the area covered by the Local Development Strategy for the programming years 2021-2027 for the area of the Local Action Group "For the City of Toruń" and the smooth implementation of LDS as part of management and animation costs in the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2029. The project is aimed at 300 adults from the LSR area (200 women and 100 men). The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of output and result indicators consistent with the programme and those specific to the project: - Number of persons supported on equality between women and men: 300; - Number of people who have raised awareness of equality between women and men through programme support: 180. As part of the project, tasks are planned: 1. Selection of grant projects – selection and payment of grants under the Undertakings in LSR 3.2 - 3.4 under Objective 3 Increasing life, educational, social and professional competences in adults and 2. Indirect costs (costs for animation and LDS management). As part of the project, the following types of projects will be carried out: 1. Raising the knowledge and awareness of people involved in education and work with children and young people about gender stereotypes and the specific needs of people of different genders, including peer violence based on gender-related beliefs. 2. Parents' clubs – meeting places for parents, depending on their needs, aimed at: Support for women (exchange of experiences, motivational workshops, psychological workshops, coaching, support circles) trying to reconcile work and family life, strengthening self-esteem and motivation to break stereotypes about the role of women and personal development; Support for men (exchange of experiences, motivational workshops, psychological workshops, coaching, support circles) trying to break stereotypes related to the role of men in the family and society, encouraging greater involvement in caring responsibilities Parent clubs may provide for joint actions for women and men, to the extent indicated above. Support for children from the age of three can only be accompanying (care for the duration of the guardian's participation in the meeting at the parent's club). 3. Enhancing the participation and empowerment of women in the labour market through measures to support the start, maintenance or return to employment, such as: legal support, in the field of personal development, motivating, psychological, strengthening self-esteem. The project will be preceded by various information and promotion activities, which will present the assumptions of the project in a clear and concrete way, through, among others, the website: https://www.dlatorunia.pl/, social media, newsletter, information meetings, individual meetings, events (resulting from the Communication Plan). Before the announcement of the first call, the LAG "For the City of Toruń" will organise: at least one information and consultation meeting with representatives of target groups (with particular emphasis on the Regional Councils) of communication activities in the city covered by the LSR. Information and publicity obligations, including informing the public about the funding of the project by the European Union, in accordance with the General Regulation (in particular Annex IX - Communication and Visibility) and Annex 3 to the Agreement. The project is in line with the Local Development Strategy for the City of Toruń for the 2021-2027 programming years. The total value of the project will be PLN 1 213 874.32, of which the co-financing amount will be PLN 1 153 180.60.
