The specific objective of the project is to: Support the adaptation of workers, businesses and entrepreneurs to change, support active and healthy ageing and a healthy and well-adapted working environment that addresses health risks. The project is addressed to 54 administrative and office employees employed in the District Labour Office for the Toruń District. Performed work, often long-term, causes the occurrence of numerous diseases, forced sitting, working with the monitor more than 4 hours a day causes problems with vision and spine, while a sedentary lifestyle causes dietary problems. In addition, there is a problem with intolerance and sensitization to food products, and diagnostics in this area is expensive. Working with a difficult client, stress and burnout require an urgent improvement in mental condition and increased motivation to work. Planned actions are aimed at reducing and eliminating harmful behaviors in the workplace, improving ergonomics and the working environment. Improving the health of employees is essential for further, effective work. The planned tasks will make it possible to improve the physical and mental health of employees. In view of the above, the project framework assumes: - purchase of 44 ergonomic office chairs for employees of the District Labour Office for the District of Toruń in Toruń, thanks to which the result will be to eliminate back pain while working in a forced sitting position, - purchase of 46 individual consultations with a dietitian on healthy nutrition, the result of this action will be learning and implementing the principles of proper nutrition for improving health, - purchase of 52 individual consultations with an ophthalmologist with eye examination and purchase of 52 protective overlays for the computer monitor screen, the result of this action will be the diagnosis of vision problems and equipping computer monitor screens with overlays that will prevent the worsening of vision problems, - training 40 employees in strengthening the potential of mental health, the result will be improving mental condition, increasing motivation to work, reducing the symptoms of stress and professional burnout. Information on the implementation of the project will be made available on the PUP website for PT (www.pupdlapowiatutorunskiego.pl) and by placing information on the bulletin board at the office's headquarters and local centre. In addition, employees of the PUP for PT will receive information about the training offer within the project by internal mail/mail.
