‘Improvement of workplace ergonomics and minimisation of health risk factors at HUSAR Budownictwo Inżyniericzne S.A.’

The subject of the project is to improve the working conditions of 37 employees of HUSAR Budownictwo Inżyniericzne S.A. performing work in front of a computer, regardless of age, education, gender and seniority of work. The project was prepared on the basis of the results of the analysis of the occurrence of adverse health factors at workplaces equipped with a computer. Actions in the project are a response to diagnosed problems. The aim of the project is to create a work environment in our organization that will be characterized by higher ergonomics of workplaces and will also focus on supporting the physical and mental health of employees, and thus on minimizing health risk factors in the workplace. We want to achieve this by improving areas that also affect the comfort and efficiency of work. organisation and delivery of training (which is the educational component of the project), retrofitting of workstations (which is a component of the modernisation of workstations) and a therapeutic component supporting physical health. Activity 1: Component related to the modernization of workplaces. Workstations will be modernized and equipped with ergonomic above-standard equipment. As part of this task, it is planned to purchase: •Adjustable computer bench seats: Seats, armrests equipped with adjustable backrests with adjustable headrests, • Ergonomic mouse pads with wrist support Task 2: The training component. This component shall provide for: organizing and conducting trainings in the field of mental health - techniques for coping with stress. These are above-standard trainings - which have an impact on strengthening the mental potential of employees. Task 3 Therapeutic component for the elimination of health risk factors, which provides for: - individual consultations with a physiotherapist, qualifying for exercises, treatments: therapeutic massage and wraps - group classes Healthy spine Project results: •Improving the mental and physical health of workers; •Improve the quality of work and a healthy organisational culture •Ensure higher job ergonomics and maintain employment •Eliminate negative risk factors, increase the health potential of workers •Minimize the need for long-term sick leave related to degenerative and/or burnout-related diseases; •Education of employees to eliminate health risk factors •Extension of working life; •Preventing inactivity and prolonging the working life of supported workers •Creating a healthy working environment •Creating work comfort, which will reduce staff turnover and have a positive impact on their efficiency at work. Planned outreach activities: • FE mark, colour mark RP and EU mark and coat of arms Woj. Kujawsko-Pomorskie on documents and materials related to the implementation of the project • A3 board/poster informing about receiving EU funding, • description of the project on www.husar-hbi.pl and social media. The main outputs that will be achieved through the implementation of the project: • 37 persons covered by the modernisation of the workplace and support in the area of health • 6 persons covered by support in the area of health over 50 years of age • 37 persons covered by the training (educational) component • 37 persons covered by support in the area of health The project will comply with Annex 2 to the Guidelines for the implementation of equality principles under the EU funds for 2021-2027.
