Development of the offer of the WSG Academic Kindergarten

The project is implemented on the basis of individually diagnosed needs of the PLO, approved by the Director of the PLO (24.10.2023). The conclusions of the diagnosis form the basis for the support offered under the project (also included in the Explanatory Memorandum p.r.p.). PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: The creation of new places of upbringing in the Academic Kindergarten of the WSG Children's University in Bydgoszcz for 20 children, including 5 for children with disabilities, while increasing the competences of 25 pre-school teachers and extending the offer to include additional educational activities (for a total of 185 children) until 31.12.2025. The project is addressed to 185 (93K and 92M) children of pre-school age, including 20 in the framework of the new pre-school places created. In addition, 25 (24Ki1M) representatives of PLO staff will take part in the project – teach them how to raise preschools, who will take part in training courses or postgraduate studies improving their competences. Support will also be given to 1 PLO - Academic Kindergarten Children's University WSG. Main products: - 20 pre-primary education places created (increase from 2024/2025 to 185 WP places, based on the organisation sheet of the kindergarten). – 185 children supported through additional pre-primary education activities, including 30 children with special developmental and educational needs. – 192 pieces of equipment, including 7 playground equipment and a fully equipped world experience room. – 25 teachers who will improve their competences in pre-school education. The sustainability of the project is understood as the institutional readiness of the institution to provide pre-school services within the pre-school education places created in the project, financed from non-European funds. Creation of 20 new places of pre-school education, including 5 for children with a judgment on the need for special education. Creation of a comprehensive world experience room for children with special educational needs, purchase of specialized equipment for children with mobility disabilities, adaptation of the playground, purchase of devices enabling the use of children with a judgment on the need for special education. Fulfillment of classes Support for 185 children. Recruitment of 4 new teachers, including 2 pre-primary and 2 supportive ones. Conducting additional classes developing socio-emotional and key competences in robotics, sports, dance, sensoplasty, theatres for children. SUPPORTING TEACHERS' COMPETENCE (WSG) Referring 25 teachers for training, among others, Social Skills Training for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Resolving Conflicts for Teachers in Kindergarten, Sensoplasty for Kindergarten Teachers. Referral of 4 teachers to postgraduate studies - Therapy and Rehabilitation of Children with Autism Spectrum. SUPPORTING TEACHERS' COMPETENCE (GAUDEAMUS) Directing 25 teachers to training, among others, Development of Emotional Intelligence of a Young Child, Working with a Child with Special Educational Needs, Principles of Working with a Child with Autism Spectrum, Concentration Disorders, Sensory Disorders. INFORMATION ACTIVITIES - The description of the project will be posted on the website www.wsg.byd.pl under the tab "COMMITTED TEACHING", (we will ensure that the accessibility criteria for people with disabilities are met) and on the Applicant's social networks. During the promotional activities, the applicant will support equality between women and men by building information and promotional messages based on messages free from stereotypes (language, graphics, images). Information activities will be carried out in accordance with the rules of information and promotion applicable in the Programme. Support in the project is complementary to PLO projects and does not cover activities in the same scope (as for participants and forms of support) implemented outside the project and financed from other sources
