The main objective of the project implemented by the City of Bydgoszcz is to improve the quality and effectiveness of vocational education through comprehensive support for 23 vocational education schools and cooperation with the socio-economic environment by 31.10.2025. The project will support 3,500 students, 275 teachers and 23 schools operating in 13 teams of vocational schools: Automotive School Complex, Chemical School Complex, Mechanical School Complex No. 2, Electronic School Complex, Building School Complex, Wood School Complex, Mechanical School Complex No. 1, Commercial School Complex, Electric School Complex, Economic and Administrative School Complex, Gastronomy and Hotel School Complex, Food School Complex, School Complex No. 1. MAIN PRODUCTS AND RESULTS: 1. Number of supported schools in the education system: 23 2. Number of VET pupils supported: 3.500 3. Number of pupils participating in career counselling: 288 4. Number of representatives of the staff of schools of the education system covered by the support: 275 5. Number of VET students participating in student placements: 902 6. Number of students who acquired a qualification after leaving the programme: 3.150 7. Number of representatives of school staff of the education system who obtained their qualifications after leaving the programme: 248 8. Number of traineeship hours completed: 129.888 The main target group are the pupils and teachers of the above-mentioned schools. Students will participate in specialized courses and trainings, additional classes developing key competences and preparing for vocational exams, aimed at improving competences, gaining professional qualifications and facilitating entry into the labour market, student internships and tailor-made educational and vocational counselling. Teachers will improve their competences and complement their professional qualifications by participating in courses, training, apprenticeships and postgraduate studies. Particular attention will be paid to the preparation of staff representatives for the implementation of inclusive education. Three cooperation networks will be set up: educational and professional advisors, mathematicians and mathematicians, psychologists and pedagogues. Schools will implement measures to improve the quality of education, including strengthening digitalisation and creating conditions in schools that reflect real working conditions through the purchase of equipment and modern teaching aids. The socio-economic environment (process of education of pupils and staff, purchase of equipment) will be included in the activities implemented under the project. Outreach activities: posting information about the project on the website www.bydgoszcz.pl and on the websites of 13 teams of vocational schools and on social media run by M. Bydgoszcz; include information about the EU support received in documents and materials related to the communication on the implementation of the project; placing information boards in a visible place of the headquarters of M. Bydgoszcz and 13 schools covered by the project; placing stickers on devices and equipment purchased under the project. All information, documents, boards, stickers will be in accordance with the Visual Identity Book of the European Funds 2021-2027 brand and the Guidelines on information and promotion of European Funds for 2021-2027.
