the Lubuskie Entrepreneurial Region

The aim of the project is to strengthen the development of entrepreneurship and innovation by supporting the sustainable growth of Lubuskie enterprises on the international arena as part of creating offers for business. Activities in the form of a direct presentation of companies during events of companies, especially industry events, bring the best results in the form of establishing business contacts and, as a result, increasing the export potential of companies. B2B meetings contribute to the expansion of export markets and the acquisition of foreign partners, and the implementation of the assumed activities contributes to increasing the added value for the economy of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, its promotion and consolidation of a positive image. It is also important to create favourable conditions for the development of SMEs interested in expanding into international markets, or acquiring foreign partners and new technologies, by providing appropriate support in the form of a seminar on international cooperation, or conducting business abroad, as well as promoting their own brand on domestic and foreign markets. The project will be implemented within the framework of Regional Smart Specializations (RIS) Lubuskie Smart Specializations (LIS), taking into account the scope of Agreements for the Development of Key Areas LIS. Actions 2024-2025: I.Economic mission - participation of Lubuskie SMEs in foreign trade fair and exhibition events with B2B industry. The project will support the participation of Lubuskie SMEs in 5 international economic events. The beneficiary plans to participate in 3 events in Europe (Slovenia, Turkey, Germany), 1 in Asia (China) and 1 event in North America - Canada. Participation in international fairs is one of the key tools of an effective export strategy. Industry fairs allow direct contact with potential customers, business partners and suppliers from different regions of the world, in one place and in a short time. This is an opportunity to present their products and services to a wide audience, which translates into increased brand recognition on foreign markets. It is also an opportunity to gain information about the market, new trends and technologies necessary for adaptation in a changing market. The planned participation in selected fairs is a response to the demand from entrepreneurs working for the Development of Key Areas, as well as the metal cluster in the Lubuskie Voivodeship. In the case of international cooperation, it is extremely important to properly prepare entrepreneurs for a foreign contractor, which is why organizational meetings and a seminar are planned before the trips (before the trip to Japan) in order to prepare participants for meetings, as well as to express knowledge about etiquette in international business. II. Cooperation Exchange (2024). The cooperation exchange will gather all active entrepreneurs and IOBs (including foreign ones), as well as decision-makers of reg., local and representatives of the world of science in one place and time. This will allow representatives of companies to establish contacts with investors from a given sector and create a place where everyone can meet their potential clients/cooperators and business partners. The B2B form gives the opportunity for cooperation talks to which representatives of investors from a given sector, as well as experts from various fields, will sit, adequate to the demand. The culmination of the exchange will be a debate covering the most important issues related to economic and social development, including, among others, the strength of Polish innovations, the synergy of science with business or the functioning of local government, building a competitive economy in new realities, support for modern EU funds and the green transition. Due to the support of expansion into foreign markets, foreign guests are expected to participate in the events.
