The aim of the project "Lubuski System Innovative Startups (Phase I)" is to create a comprehensive ecosystem of support for startups in the Lubuskie region to develop breakthrough innovations. The main stages of the project include: Task 1. Delivery of a startup platform for the analysis and verification of innovative ideas. task 2. Conducting a call for innovative ideas and caring for startups. task 3. Workshops and training for startups. task 4. Advisory support for startups. task 5. Compliance of the project with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination. task 6. Indirect costs. The main objective of the project is to support early-stage SMEs through business consultancy, incubation services, early-stage business services to help the entrepreneur develop an innovative product/service and enable independent functioning in the market. An important element of the project will be the search and verification of ideas with high growth potential, taking into account regional smart specialization. The main objective will be achieved through specific objectives: creation and development of innovative companies in the region, -access to modern technological and office infrastructure, -increasing the availability of finance for SMEs at various stages of development, including the "pre-seed" phase, -accelerating the introduction of innovations to the market, increasing their scalability and chances of expansion, -minimizing the risk of failure of ideas through professional support and access to know-how, -creating an extensive network of contacts between entrepreneurs, investors and innovators. The criterion for admission to the project will be the desire to start a business or have it in the early stage of development (maximum 24 months before submitting the application for support) and a positive assessment of an innovative idea for a product / service included in the business plan. From among the ideas submitted in the above-mentioned way, the Investment Committee will select at least 120 projects that will be qualified for the second part of the Lubuskie System of Innovative Startups (stage II), in which participants receive support in the form of a development voucher. The offer of services to entrepreneurs is based on the diagnosed needs of enterprises and is tailored to them, taking into account technological areas and the ability to finance innovation. It will also be available to businesses located outside large urban centres. Services for enterprises will be provided by accredited entities, including research centres, Business Environment Institutions, Innovation Centres. Thanks to this approach, the project will significantly support the development of startups and contribute to the growth of Regional Smart Specializations. The Lubuskie System of Innovative Startups will be coordinated with the innovation policy implemented in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, and the concept itself is an operational development of the provisions in the Lubuskie Development Strategy 2030, National and European Development Policy until 2030. The implementation of the project will allow for the effective use of financial instruments by enterprises at an early stage of development.
