As part of the project, a partnership project will be implemented (Applicant: Municipality of Zabór; Partner: City of Zielona Góra). The project envisages the construction of a walking and cycling path in the municipality of Zabór and the city of Zielona Góra with accompanying infrastructure on the section from Droszków (Zabór) to the roundabout in Nowy Kisielin ( Zielona Góra), with a total length of: 3 007 km. On the designed section of the bicycle path, it is also planned to put benches, bike racks and trash cans and other small architecture objects. In addition, information and promotion activities are planned as part of the project. The target groups of the project are: - Residents of the Municipality of Zabór and the City of Zielona Góra; - Residents of ZNOF; - The Applicant's authorities and the authorities of the Municipalities, the Applicant's shareholders. The main objective of the project is to reduce pollutant emissions from the transport sector through the development of cycling infrastructure and to reduce low emissions as well as to improve the safety of road users in the Zielonogórsko-Nowosolskie Functional Area. Specific objectives closely linked to the main objective include: - Development of infrastructure for cyclists through the construction of a 3 007 km long pedestrian-cycling path network, from Droszków to the roundabout in Nowy Kisielin, connecting the municipality of Zabór and the city of Zielona Góra. - Improving the quality and functioning of the transport system offer in the ZNOF area by creating a transport corridor through the planned cycle-pedestrian path as an alternative to other means of transport. - Improving the safety of cyclists on public roads in the area of ZNOF. Thanks to the expansion of non-motorised transport infrastructure by this section, it is estimated that at least 8 332 users per year will use the new section, which will contribute to reducing emissions by 1.46 Mg CO2/year. The planned tasks are adequate to the needs of the target groups, because they allow to effectively meet the communication needs of the target groups without generating emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. The project is implemented in the design and build mode. The Contractor selected in the tender will be required to obtain a Road Investment Permit (ZRID) for the route in question.
